To the editor:
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the community of Rush City for its support of the Rush City schools and the beautiful elementary school that we have here in Rush City. Many community members got the opportunity to see the school at our open house on Sunday, March 21. Young and old alike enjoyed touring the new school, eating spaghetti and visiting neighbors.
The support of our community has always been outstanding, and this is just one more example of what a community committed to providing the best for our kids can accomplish. Students and staff alike feel blessed to have such a great learning environment.
Also a special thank you to the Rush City Lions for putting on the spaghetti dinner where proceeds will go toward the development of the new intermediate playground. Our local organizations have always gone above and beyond to help out our kids.
Time after time, event after event, it is obvious that Rush City is a great place to live, whether itís growing up, raising a family or retiring.
We still have that ìsmall townî pride and the sense of family that makes Rush City so special.
