Doris Mae Kannisto, age 77, died at St. Croix Hospital in Wisconsin on May 16, 2004.
Funeral service 2 p.m. Friday, May 21, at Grandstrand Funeral Home, Lindstrom. Visitation 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at funeral home. Burial is 1 p.m. Saturday at Woodland Cemetery, New York Mills, Minn.
She was born on March 18, 1927 in New Castle, PA to Earl and Helen Edeburn. She married Richard Kannisto on Aug. 20, 1977 in Forest Lake. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crafts and parades.
Preceded in death by first husband George Miros, second husband Raymond Taylor, third husband Richard Kannisto, mother Helen Edeburn, father Earl Edeburn, two sisters Ruth Heckathorn and Julia McCoulagh.
She is survived by three daughters Patty (Gary) Sauer, Lynda (Jack) Filla, and Debbie Taylor; three sons George Miros, Randy (Ester) Taylor, and Billy (Kim) Taylor, two step-daughters Dorothy Kannisto and Julie (David) Britton, four step-sons Richard (Bonnie) Kannisto, John Kannisto, Daniel Kannisto, and Roger (Cheryl) Kannisto, 27 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
