Recently, First National Bank in North Branch named Jim Herbert as the new branch manager.
Herbert has been with First National Bank since October of 2002, and has more than 15 years of banking experience, most recently through his work at S&C Bank, where he managed the Almelund, Harris and Taylors Falls offices.
Herbert replaced Jim Vrchota who took another job at a bank in St. Paul.

Herbert is a graduate of Winona State University and has also graduated from the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisc.
He also is active in supporting many community functions, serving as a board member for the North Branch Chamber, and is very involved in many local hockey activities.
In addition to North Branch and Stacy, First National Bank of Hudson has offices in Hudson, Ellsworth, Baldwin, and Hammond, Wisc., plus an office in Woodbury. The bank has about $325 million in total assets.
