INSPEC receives first place for RCHS project

INSPEC, a key player in the replacement of the roof on the Rush City High School, last month received a first place award in the large project documents category from the Roof Consultants Institute (RCI) at its International Convention and Tradeshow in Reno, Nev.

The award was given for the roof and parking lot drainage projects at the Rush City High School.

Mike Johnston, supervisor at INSPECís Minneapolis office, received the award on behalf of INSPEC.

ìWeíre very proud of all the employees who worked long and hard hours on the complex project,î Johnston said. ìItís an honor to receive this award.î

Tim Eklund, superintendent of Rush City Schools, praised the work by saying ìthere are no leaks, drips, or complaints.î

ìWe have been able to improve student safety, landscape around the building, significantly improve parking lot drainage, and generally improve the external areas that had been adversely affected by the failed roof system,î Eklund said.

Eklund added that an an additional bonus are ìthe aesthetics of the new roofing system has enhanced the building appearance and resulted in a very positive reception by the public.î
