The Chisago County Highway Department will hold a public meeting to present preliminary information for reconstructing the road from the west county line to Co. Rd. 30 as part of the Co. Rd. 17 improvement project.
The proposed project includes the construction of an interchange at I-35 with access ramps and a park and pool transit lot.
Public input will be received at this meeting to be used to modify the design options.
Chisago County and its consultant, SEH, Inc., will use the public comments to assess the social, economic and environmental impacts of the project.
The meeting will be 6 p.m., Monday, May 10 at Lent Town Hall, 33155 Hemingway, Ave.
