Rehearsals have begun for the annual musical production by the Cambridge-Isanti High School drama students.
This yearís production ìHello Dollyî involves more than 120 students as cast, crew and pit band members!
Directors Bruce Danielson and Frank Wells are celebrating 20 years of co-producing shows at CIHS and breaking a long-standing tradition of not repeating a show. They chose ìHello Dollyî because it was one of the most successful shows ever done at the high school.
Choreography will be directed by Aaron Knudsvig. He has directed with Danielson and Wells since joining the CIHS staff 5 years ago.
The show opens on Friday, Nov. 12 at the Performing Arts Center of CIHS. Additional performances are scheduled for Nov. 13, 18, 19, 20 and 21.ŬAll shows are at 7 p.m. except the last performance, which will be a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m.Ŭ Tickets will be available at the high school box office from 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m. beginning Nov. 1. Prices are $7 for adults and $6 for students and seniors. You can also reserve tickets by calling the box office at (689) 6466 during the same hours.
