Dr. David Walsh, nationally renowned, award-winning psychologist, spokeÝabout the workings of the teenage brain to a packed crowd at Fairview Lakes Regional Medical Center in Wyoming Sept. 29. The program proved so popular that he is now back to repeat the same free informational seminar from noon to 2 p.m. on Tuesday,
Nov. 2.
Once again, Dr. Walsh will focus on the materials presented in his new book, ìWhy Do They Act That Way? A Survival Guide to the Adolescent Brain for You and Your Teen.î
In the book, Dr. Walsh explains exactly what happens to the human brain on the path from childhood into adolescence and adulthood, and why teens are prone to erratic behaviors such as moodiness, fatigue, risk-taking, territoriality, explosive anger and withdrawal.
The program is free. Due to the popularity of this event, reservations are required. Call Fairview On Call (612) 672-7272.
