Harry H. Fleming age 79 of Harris, Minn died on Sept. 30, 2004 at his home.
Harry was born on May 24, 1925 in St. Paul, Minn to Hudson (Bert) and Grace (Elledge) Fleming. On June 28, 1947 he married Adeline V. Hoffman at St. Johnís Lutheran Church in St. Paul, Minn. Harry worked as a truck driver for over 57 years. Harry served in the Army during WWII and was very proud of this fact.
Harry enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He fed birds and enjoyed watching them. Harry also worked with many foster children, a job he really enjoyed.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers Hudson, Forrest, Donald and Bruce; son Kenneth and grandson Drew Fisher.
Harry is survived by wife Adeline; three sons; Harry Jr. (Mary Jo), David (Deb) and James (Teresa); five daughters; Alexandra (Orville) Fisher, Alana (Harold) Edstrom, Debbie (James) Carlbom, Susan (Michael) Hughes, and Penny (Craig) Auers; 25 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2004, 11 a.m. at Fish Lake Lutheran Church in Harris, Minn with Rev. Dale Stiles officiating. His grandsons served as casketbearers.
Interment was in the Fish Lake Cemetery.
