Jeff was born in Minneapolis, Minn. Dec. 8, 1960 to Denise and Robert Muehlberg and until his mid teens lived in the Lexington/Circle Pines area.
In 1975 his family moved to Rush City where he attended Rush City High School and remained working in the Rush City area until 1995. At that time he moved back to the Lexington/Circle Pines area and worked in the construction trades. Most recently he was doing roofing and remodeling. He loved his family and friends without reservation; his greatest love being his son, Nicholas. He will be sadly missed by all of us but his love and memories will remain in our hearts forever.
Jeff died suddenly Sept. 25, 2004 at the Regions Hospital in St. Paul. He was 43 years of age and is survived by his son Nicholas Muehlberg of Mora, mother Denise Anderson and her husband Gary of Pine City, brother Scott Muehlberg and his wife Michelle of Rush City, nieces Shanna and Andi, nephew James, Jeffís special friend Monica Carroll of St. Paul and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father Robert Muehlberg, grandparents Harriet and Hugh Muehlberg, Vernon and Mavis Johnson, uncle Loren Johnson and cousin Drew Wold.
Rev. Vicki VanderVegt of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Pine City officiated at graveside services Saturday Oct. 2, in the Birchwood Cemetery of Pine City. Funeral arrangements for Jeffrey Muehlberg were entrusted to the Funeral & Cremation Service of Rush City *Olson Chapel.*
