Find out what local candidates think about the issues that concern you. Attend the Chisago County Candidates Forum,
7 p.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, at the North Branch High School auditorium.
The forum, co-sponsored by the Chisago County League of Women Voters and North Branch Area Community Education, will feature candidates for Minnesota House of Representatives District 17B: Jeremy Kalin, Peter Nelson, and P.J. Richardson, and the Chisago County Board of Commissioners: District 1, Lynn Schultz and Lora Walker; District 3, Curt Flug and Bob Gustafson; and District 5, Bob Carter and Mike Robinson.
The format for the evening features a combination of predetermined questions and questions from the floor, with a moderator presiding. The first hour of the forum will feature the House District 17B candidates, and the second half will feature the county commissioner candidates.
Those who cannot attend the forum can listen to a live broadcast on WCMP radio of Pine City, 1350 AM.
