Marlene Mae (buhl) Lewis, age 68 of North Branch, Minn., died on Sept. 16, 2004 at her home.
Marlene was born on May 5, 1936 in St. Paul to Eleanor (Peterson) and William F. Buhl. She attended high school at Johnson High School and graduated in 1954. On Oct. 10, 1953 she married Bernard E. Lewis in White Bear Lake. Marlene worked as a quality control inspector from 1966 to 1972 and also as a homemaker.
Marlene enjoyed antique collecting, interior designing, her art work and she was a master stain remover.
Marlene was preceded in death by her father William, and brother Gerald Buhl.
Marlene is survived by husband Bernard, one son Stephen and wife Lori; two daughters Deborah Wischow and husband Donald, Linnea LaCasse and husband David; mother Eleanor Buhl; one brother John Buhl; two sisters Mryna Madison, and Marjorie Matheson; five grandchildren Sarah and Lauren Wischow, Stephanie and Stephen Lewis, and Matthew LaCasse; one great-grandchild Jocelyn Lewis. Many other relative and friends.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 22, at noon at the United Methodist Church in North Branch with Rev. Chris Kneen officiating.
