To the editor:
Often during the hubbub of state and national elections, county and local elections seem to become somewhat obscured by all the political rhetoric. For this reason I want to take a moment to recommend Jerry Spetzman as your candidate for a supervisory position on the Chisago Soil and Water Conservation District Board. Jerry Spetzman (employed by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture) and I have served together for the past six years as citizen members on the Chisago Water Plan Policy Team Board. During this period of time I have come to know and respect Jerryís dedication to, and knowledge of, land use and water quality issues. I am certain that Jerry Spetzman has both the wisdom and qualifications to address the land use and water quality concerns to the satisfaction of the citizens of Chisago County. He has my vote, and I sincerely hope he will have yours. Thank you for your consideration.
