North Branch Police last week arrested a robber in the act.
Ken Kha Dang, 33, of Burnsville faces charges of aggravated robbery, kidnapping, theft valued more than $2,500 and brandishing a firearm in the Sept. 15 robbery of the Zales jewelry store in Tanger Outlet Center.
Officers arrived at the store just after 8 p.m. after being called about the robbery. The clerks had been directed at gunpoint into an office by Dang.
When officers North Branch Dan Meyer and Rick Sapp arrived, Dang was spotted leaving the store.
He was arrested without incident. The Chisago County deputies and Wyoming Police assisted.
Officers received information leading them to believe Dang is responsible for a Dec. 2 robbery at the same store and other Twin Cities robberies.
