Obituary Posted: 9/30/04
Jeffrey Swenson of Pine City, formerly of Almelund, Minn., died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004 at the age of 54 years.
There will be a visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29, at the Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch. There will be a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Almelund.
Jeff was born Aug. 4, 1950 in St. Croix Falls, Wisc. to Emory and Norma Swenson. He graduated from Taylors Falls High School in 1968.
Jeff was employed as plant manager by Bauerly Bros. for many years.
Until his retirement Jeff served on the Almelund Fire Department, several years as a Chief. He was also active in the Almelund Lions and the Almelund Threshing Company. In his free time he enjoyed gardening, fishing and working on machinery.
Jeffrey is preceded in death by his parents, Emory and Norma.
He is survived by special friend Diane Burgess, the mother of his children Janet Swenson of Center City, children Chad White of St. Anthony, Charles Lindee of Minneapolis, Sara Swenson, Joshua Swenson, both of Pine City, sister Marcia (Stan) Kulbitski of Amery, Wisc., and brother Greg (Tami) Swenson of Grantsburg, Wisc.
