Norman Tillman Alsaker, age 73 of North Branch, Minn., died on Sept. 25, 2004 at his home.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 30,at 11 a.m. at the Spring Lake Lutheran Church in North Branch, Minn. with Rev. Tim Bjorge officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before services at the church. Interment in Spring Lake Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral home in North Branch.
Norman was born on May 17, 1931 in Cheyenne, North Dakota to Ingrold and Mary (Flaskerud) Alsaker. He completed high school in the service in 1952.
On Sept. 20, 1952 he married Almeda Fern Brown in Glenwood. Norman served in the Air Force from July 1951 until July of 1959.
Norman was a member of Post 225 American Legion Club.
He is survived by wife Almeda; daughter Susan and husband John Gerlach; five sons: David and wife Susan, Michael and wife Deann, Paul and wife Sari, Daniel and wife Terry, and John and wife Amy; 24 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; sister Julia Zgoda; brother Clarence and wife Shirley; many other relatives and friends.
