The Health/Wellness Resource Expo will be held at the Chisago County Senior Center and Uptown Maple Commons in North Branch Wednesday, April 13, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Learn about resources; come see exhibitors, and learn new information relevant to seniors. There will be multiple health screenings available throughout this event. There will be two presentations. Puppy Love, 2:30 p.m., assistance dogs demonstrate their skills. At 3:45 p.m. Planning and Preparing to stay Home. This will help seniors and their families to learn the resources and services are available to Chisago County residents to ìplanî to stay at home. Participants will receive a ìmenuî which includes a listing of services as well as the cost (where applicable).
Take advantage of this awesome happening. Learn about resources and informative programs, come see additional exhibitors, learn new information and see hands on alternative health demonstrations.
Food and beverages will be available and there will be hourly prizes, raffles and a bake sale. Bingo from 12:45 to 2 p.m.
The Chisago County Senior Center is located in North Branch at Uptown Maple Commons on 6th and Maple, Senior Center side. Transportation is being offered by Heartland Express and Parmly Transportation for a nominal fee. If you need transportation you need to sign up by Friday, April 8.
