Corporate sponsors provided initial funds to get the 2005 north Chisago County Relay for Life event rolling.

The Relay, which was held at Tanger Outlet Center July 29, raised over $84,000. Pictured are (l to r): Dave Reider of Reider Machine, Inc. ($1,000), Kari Bauer, Plastech Corporation, Rush City ($1,000), Kristi Hutchinson, North Branch Furniture Outlet USA ($1,000), Sharon Gallagher, representing Stanley K. Tanger ($5,000), Mike Griffin, G & K Builders ($1,000), Jackie Koecher, Fairview Lakes Regional Medical Center ($1,000), Rhonda Hanson, Community National Bank ($1,000), Christina Narwid from the University of Minnesota Physicians Radiology Therapy Center in Wyoming ($2,500), Jim Herbert First National Bank ($2,500), and Roger Nelson of Nelson's Market ($1,000). The AmericInn of North Branch and Andersen Windows were $500 sponsors which helped with the luminary track.
