The presentation, made at the recent Lions Club meeting at Perkins in North Branch, represents an increasing share of funding for the school from service organizations such as Lions, as recent state funding levels have tightened.

The school, which has a new motto, ìWeíre changing,î now offers students the chance to take the first two years of a four-year education at PTC, at about half the cost of most four-year schools, Musgrove noted. The school still offers an array of cutting-edge technical courses as well.

Because of North Branchís rapidly growing population, an increasing percentage of the schoolís students come from the North Branch area.
