Americaís most Swedish CityÝwill host the Gammelstad Manskor from LuleÂ, Sweden on Friday, Sept. 16, at 7 p.m. at theÝ Cambridge Lutheran Church. Cambridge is located one hour north of the Twin Cities on Hwy. 65 and was designated as ìmost Swedishî for towns over 5000 in the US 2000 census.
Lule is a city in the northern part of Sweden. The chorus is one of the largest male choruses in Sweden and isÝdirected by Lennart Johansson who has also brought the Old Town Gospel Choir on tour to Minnesota and Wisconsin.
The choirÝwill be in Cambridge as part of a tour sponsored by the American Swedish Institute Male Chorus.Ý
TheÝchurch is located at Ý621 Old North Main Street in Cambridge.
