TO THE EDITOR:
Recently we saw in the news that lightning struck a home in the Twin City area, which caused a fire that almost totally destroyed the home. If such a thing happened at Green Acres, it would be a disaster. For the staff to remove the residents down the stairways in wheel chairs would be next to impossible. There would be some loss of life.
To those of you who are hindering building of a new nursing home, take heed!
