An eerily quiet moment on the track shortly before dawn at the Relay for Life celebration in North Branch at the Tanger Outlet Center.
Walkers had grouped into small bunches to keep each othersí spirits up in the last hour of the walk. Amazingly, some had an enormous amount of energy even after hours of walking.
Funds raised as of Tuesday were $84,854 and they were still counting.
