There have been some changes in the realm of local cuisine in North Branch.

The New China Buffet moved from the corner of Forest Boulevard and Main Street into a new location in the Midtown Commons, next to the North Branch Area Chamber of Commerce and Northstar Access.

They are slated to reopen this month.

Francisco Arreola Martinez of North Branch purchased the building the New China Buffet formerly called home and has spent the summer remodeling it.

Arreola Martinezís new restaurant, the Green Iguana, will feature authentic Mexican cuisine including enchiladas, burritos and margaritas.

The Green Iguana will open this month.
