Hwy. 95 repair in North Branch to continue to August 19

Posted: 8/9/05

The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) began work Aug. 8, on Hwy. 95 in North Branch causing major delays in getting to work and other appointments. Some people reported a standstill wait of at least 20 minutes.

The project, which runs from I-35 to County Road 14, includes resurfacing and rehabilitation of the roadway. Traffic is being restricted to one lane and flaggers are directing motorists through the work zone during the repair project. This route is marked with signs indicating the flagging operation.

The project is scheduled to be completed Aug.19, weather permitting.

Mn/DOT urges motorists to drive with caution, reminding them to SLOW DOWN in the work zone and NEVER enter a roadway that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
