The Minnesota Farm Bureau invites you to join them on their ì2006 Farmers to Washingtonî tour Feb. 15-19, 2006. Farm Bureau members will take their message to federal decision-makers and experience Farm Bureau in action. This tour is an ideal opportunity to have an impact on public policy.
The trip will include an issues briefing with American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) staff; meetings with Minnesotaís congressional delegation, government officials and AFBF staff; the opportunity to attend congressional hearings, and tour famous landmarks in Washington, D.C.
The cost is $825 per individual based on double occupancy and a single occupancy trip is $1,155. Price includes: airfare, bus transfers, four-nights hotel and Wednesday group dinner. *Prices may vary due to air fair cost fluctuation.
Space is limited, so reserve your spot by sending in a $50 per person, non-refundable deposit before Dec. 16. Full payment must be received by Jan. 13.
Fifteen $200 grants (one per county) will be offered to help defray the cost of the trip. These grants will be awarded to the first 15 counties with an individual registered for the trip with the $50 deposit fee included. This is a first come, first serve incentive.
