North Branch and Rush City both participated in the 8-team Big Lake tournament on Dec. 9, with Matt Wuorinen and Adam Best of Rush City winning their weight classes.
In the team competition, North Branch fiinished fifth and Rush City sixth. Big Lake won, followed by Monticello, Meadow Creek Christian Alliance and St. Cloud Apollo. Sartell and Rockford rounded out the participants.

103 lbs: Tom Mork NB 5th.
112 lbs: Erik Kostik NB 2nd; Tommy Flemiing RC 5th.
119 lbs: Cory Crowell NB 4th; Tyler Liebel RC 5th.
125 lbs: Boyd Suparat NB 2nd; Jake Welna RC 6th.
130 lbs: Lance Peterson RC 6th.
135 lbs: Matt Wuorinen RC 1st; Chris Newham NB 5th.
140 lbs: Matt Newham NB 2nd; Jake Segbarth RC 4th.
145 lbs: James Fleming RC 4th.
152 lbs: Adam Best RC 1st; Jon Buck NB 5th.
160 lbs: Tyler Schommer RC 4th; John Wickoren NB 6th.
171 lbs: Greg Arnt NB 4th.
189 lbs: Mackenzie Johnston RC 3rd; Adam Gades NB 4th.
215 lbs: Kyle Wuornos NB 5th.
275 lbs: Luke Carlson RC 4th; Dan Kowarsch NB 6th.
