TO THE EDITOR:

Our county commissioner, Lynn Schultz has voted to not accept the full library budget. She also wants the cut to be directed at the new Wyoming Library. Because the budget has not been met, ECRL cannot accept the hours paid for the North Branch library by the city.

That is to keep the library open on Monday. In the past, when a county has chosen to not meet the lib budget, the cut cannot be directed to one library. Hence North Branch is hit again. At a time when we would like to enjoy our new library, we will be faced with fewer open hours. There will be a Commissioner meeting on Wednesday night, December 21, Ýif you care about libraries, please come and voice your opinion or else contact Lynn Schultz. Itís not fair for North Branch to have less open hours than Wyoming and Chisago Lakes.
