The next ìFriends of the Sunrise Riverî citizensí group meeting is scheduled for Monday,
Dec. 12 from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m., at Kost Church on County Road 15. The interim board is formed and theyíre looking for others who are interested in setting the groundwork for this new conservation group. Theyíll focus on setting up committees, volunteer opportunities for sampling, and dues levels; dues have been initially set at $10/year basic membership.
Join them if you are ready to help conserve this river. Theyíd love input from people in Isanti, Anoka and Washington counties who live on or near, or who just enjoy the Sunrise River.
