The North Branch One-Act Play achieved a first last Saturday at the Section 7AA competition in Cloquet, winning first place and advancing to the state meet this Thursday in St. Paul.
The troupe was ranked first by all three judges. ìThe kids did an amazing job,î said director Mindy Swanson, who is in her first year. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth and North Branch High School.
