The 20th annual Chicago County Pheasants Forever Banquet is set for Saturday, March 5, at Lent Town Hall near Stacy.
The popular event, which draws people from a wide area, begins with a social hour at 5 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m. It has been a sellout or nearly so in recent years, so order your tickets early, advises Tim Kane, chapter president.
Tickets are available from chapter members, at Board & Biscuit Pet Center on Hwy. 8 in Chisago City, or by calling Kane at (651) 674-6209.
Guest speaker will be Howard Vincent, CEO of the national Pheasants Forever organization. He will give the latest information on the activities of this ever-growing national organization, including an update on all of the habitat-boosting activities and the critically-important federal Conservation Reserve Program (CRP).
ìIt provides a chance for participants to network with fellow sports men and women, win some nice prizes and learn more about the goals and activities of Pheasants Forever,î Kane said.
