Nathanael Gilkerson, a runner for the Northwestern College Eagles, set a new school record in the 200 meter dash on Feb. 5 at the University of Wisconsin-Stout Warren Bowlus Invitational.

Gilkersonís time was 22.99, which qualified him for the National Christian College Athletic Association national indoor championship, which will be held this coming weekend in Findlay, Ohio.

Gilkerson also ran on the distance medley team, which shattered the previous school record by 41 seconds with a time of 11:09.41.
Gilkerson, of North Branch, is a senior majoring in kinesiology. Northwestern College is located in St. Paul.
