The Rush City boysí team won their second conference game of the season in heart-stopping fashion on Feb. 10, downing Ogilvie 47-46.
Trailing by 5 with a little over a minute left, Jerred Nelson scored on a 3-point play to bring the Tigers to within 2 at 4-44.
On the next possession the Tigers stopped the Lions and
Tony Webb hit a 3-pointer with 18 seconds left. That turned out to be the winning basket.
Nelson recorded a double-double on the night, scoring 13 and pulling down 10 rebounds. Webb scored 11.
Earlier in the week the Tigers went down 46-68 to Pine City and 83-39 to Maranatha.
Up next: Feb. 18 v. Isle, 7:30 p.m., final home game of the season.
