The North Branch varsity and junior varsity Vikettes each placed first in both kick and jazz at their invitational on Jan. 20.

Competitors included Cambridge, Rogers, Big Lake and North Branch.
The Vikettes ran away with the competition, defeating the second place teams in each category by 30 points.

ìThe girls were extremely excited and had a great time. There was a great turnout as far as a crowd goes and my girls had great sportsmanlike attitudes,î said Coach Jessie Muske.
