A North Branch man was arrested Jan. 1 in connection with the theft of a motor vehicle on the 6400 block of Red Fox Run.

At around 4:26 a.m. Jacob L. Tibbetts, 21, along with Brian L. Huber, 22, of Rosemount, were discovered occupying the stolen vehicle in the parking lot of JJís Bowl in North Branch by the North Branch Police Department, according to the police report.

Both men were taken into custody without incident.

Tibbetts was charged with motor vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools and possession of drug paraphernalia, the report said.

Huber was charged with motor vehicle theft and possession of stolen property, the report also said.
The two men were booked at the Chisago County Jail.

The incident remains under investigation by the NBPD.
