To the editor:
This past Christmas season, the North Branch Lions Club sold Christmas trees. Our project was an incredible success. We sold quite a few trees, raised some money, and our club members had a lot of fun working together on this project.
We would like to thank the many businesses and individuals in our community who helped to make our project a success, especially Lake State Federal Credit Union for the use of their parking area, the North Branch Chamber of Commerce for their help organizing the event and the Dairy Association for their donation of eggnog.
The North Branch Lions Club thanks you for your support and we are looking forward to seeing you at our Christmas tree stand next year.
