January is National Blood Donor Month.

Giving blood is especially important this time of year as donations are typically low due to the holidays, inclement weather and winter illnesses.

While all types of blood are welcome and needed, type O ñ ìthe universal typeî is especially needed in this region.
Type O is frequently used during emergency surgeries. The blood you donate today, may help save a life tomorrow.
The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be at Living Branch Luth Church, 38180 S. Hemingway, North Branch, Jan. 27,
1-6 p.m.
