A near capacity crowd braved the bitter cold Jan. 13 and packed the North Branch High School gym for the seasonís first Dance Team Invitational, hosted by the North Branch Vikettes. They were treated to sizzling performances by varsity and junior varsity teams from North Branch, Forest Lake and Chisago Lakes. Big Lake was scheduled to attend but had to cancel when a number of dancers fell ill.
