To the editor:
Three weeks ago, Wild River Audubon sent out a plea for donations to support the environmental education newsletter ěAudubon Adventures.î The response from the community has been overwhelming! We received enough support to order the curriculum from National Audubon and expect it to be in local elementary classrooms by the new year.
In particular, we recognize the generosity of these organizations: Recycling for Wildlife of Harris, The Robin Realty Company of Lindstrom, Petersonís North Branch Mill of North Branch and the Senator Janet Johnson Memorial Fund.
We also thank our many members who responded quickly to our request and sponsored a classroom set of newsletters, or, in some cases, many sets. The executive board of Wild River Audubon is heartened by your support. Thank you!
