TO THE EDITOR:

On June 20, we had an emergency in our family. We called 9-1-1 and are very happy with the response. By the time I completed the call, I could hear the sirens. The police officer and ambulance crew worked so efficiently and professionally. Their courteous manner and calm demeanor is a great comfort in a time like this.
