School board members impact student opportunities, provide leadership, approve policies and listen to and communicate with the public.
This year, Rush City Schools will have three seats open for school board members for a four-year term. If interested, you must file for candidacy between July 5 and 19 at the District Office at Rush City High School, 51001 Fairfield Avenue.
A filing fee of $2 is required. Elections will take place during the general election Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2005. Terms begin January 2006.
