Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty announced yesterday, March 15, that 35 cities, townships and counties would receive state grants totaling about $19.5 million to improve housing stock, commercial property and critical infrastructure.
The city of Stacy has been awarded a grant in the amount of $477,000 to rehabilitate 20 homes in its mobile home park and replace a manhole as part of a $4 million sewer system project funded by the Minnesota Public Facilities Authority. The grants will be presented at a special award ceremony April 14 at the Radisson City Center in St. Paul.
