To call May 6 a good day for the North Branch track team would be an understatement.

Both the boys and girls teams won the seven-team Chisago Lakes Invitational, with the girls placing first in all four relays and the boys winning two of three.

Jenny Anderson, Al Moore, Haley Hasleiet, Billy Oehlers, Nick Ramberg and Joe Lofboom continued their streak of first place finishes in their respective events.

In addition, Josh Beach, Sarah Swanson, Miranda Charley, and Shelly Oehlers also won their events.

"It was fun to win both the girls and the boys meets. I think we're peaking at the right time. I really like the way all of our athletes are going out and competing," said Coach Brian Hasleiet.
