The United States Achievement Academy announced that Skie Sederberg from South Shore, SD, has been named a United States National Award Winner in English. The Academy recognizes fewer that 10 percent of all American high school students. Sederberg attends South Shore School and will appear in the United States Achievement Academy Official Yearbook, which is published nationally.
The criteria for selection are a studentís academic performance, interest and aptitude, leadership qualities, responsibility, enthusiasm, motivation to learn and improve citizenship, attitude and cooperative spirit, dependability, and recommendation from a teacher or director.
Sederberg is the daughter of Clinton & Rhonda Sederberg of South Shore, SD. Grandparents are Elwood Levi Greybuffalo and Sharon Curry of Sisseton, SD, and Alice Sederberg of North Branch, Minn.
