The Friends of Minnesota Interstate State Park at Taylors Falls are seeking help in establishing a reward fund for anyone with information about the destruction of the rock formation known as Devilís Chair.
The ancient rock formation overlooking the St. Croix River at Taylors Falls disappeared sometime between April 3 and 9.
It is still not determined if the rock formation fell on its own or if vandalism played a role in its demise.
The Friends group asks that checks sent to the fund be earmarked to ěDevilís Chairî on the check memo or on an accompanying letter.
Send them to Park and Trails Council of Minnesota, 275 E. 4th, Suite 642, St. Paul, MN 55101-1651.
Credit card users can go to info@parksandtrails.org or www.parksandtrails.org where there is a link in the upper corner called ějoin/donate.î Scroll down to Devilís Chair.
You can also call (651) 944-2457 or 1-800-944-0707.
