TO THE EDITOR:

We want everyone possible to know how professional, efficient and caring the staff of First National Bank of North Branch was when we experienced a crisis of fraud on our account at the large, well known TCF bank of Forest Lake. We were out of town when we first became aware of the fraud on our TCF account and what was worse was the fact that we were so far away. The TCF customer service follow up was unacceptable, uncaring and inefficient making our experience a nightmare after reporting that money was being taken out of our account from a West St. Paul location. It took two months of worry and no appropriate communication for this situation to be resolved.

We do not want anyone else to have to experience this and will be grateful forever to our small town local bank, FNB of North Branch where we also have an account. We specifically want to thank manager, Jim Herbert and personal bankers Trudy Lundeen and Linda Emery for their help and concern for us. They are excellent employees at the First National Bank!
