Coach Wayne Peshia might have been the only person in the county not complaining about last week's weather.
His golfers shot their best totals for the year in cold and windy conditions at Isle on Apr. 28, prompting Peshia to remark, "They seem to need the weather to be crummy."
Dan Swanson shot an all-time low of 38.
Rush City boys downed Isle 182-200 while the girls were edged 214-207. Kelsey Johnson and Tomi Schellbach each shot 42 to lead the girls.
On Apr. 25, in similar conditions, the girls won matches against Onamia and Moose Lake.
The girls are 2-3 in the conference and the boys are 1-4.
