The IMAGE Art Show is an annual event open to any artist in Region 7E (including the MN counties of Chisago, Kanabec, Isanti, Mille Lacs, and Pine.) The Art Show and the awards honor some of the finest art in the area.

The judges for the show were Naomi Hart, director of development for the Grand Marais Art Colony and former executive director of the Jaques Art Center in Aitkin; and Julia Ann Real, art instructor at Aitkin High School and periodic assistant director at the Jacques Art Center in Aitkin. Show photographer was Ron Anderson of Isle. Coordinators were Krystal Hunsaker of A Walk in the Woods, Shelly Leach and Cyndy Rudolph of Onamia Community Education; and the curator was Sue Lyback-Dahl of Isle Community Education.

A special thank you to local volunteers including several local dancers who often perform as the Silver Threads Revue.
The IMAGE 2005 show was held at the Rolf Olsen Center in Onamia, hosted by Mille Lacs Area Community Education, a consortium of Onamia and Isle Community Education programs.

The funding for this art exhibition was provided by the East Central Arts Council and the East Central Regional Development Commission through an appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature.
