Blessings for Brett Benefit

Brett Wolfgram, of Rush city, is the 12 year old son of Julie Schmidt/Wilcox (who grew up
in St. Paul Park) and Don Wolf-gram of Forest Lake. He is the grandson of Ray and the late Deloris Schmidt.

Brett was diagnosed with Leukemia (AML) on Jan. 20, 2005. He has been in and out of Fairview/University Childrenís Hospital since. He received a bone marrow transplant on July 1, and is in recovery.

Brett and his mom have been staying at the Ronald McDonald house off and on since then. This benefit is for raising fund to help defray medical expenses.

The benefit will be held Nov. 12 at the American Legion Post #98, 328 Broadway Ave., St. Paul Park, MN 55071.

People can view items for silent auction/ door prizes, 4 to 5 p.m. Bidding for silent auction begins at 5 to 8 p.m.

Winner announced at 9 p.m.

From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. music will be played by DJ (sounds Great) and comic relief by ìLarry the Boat Guy.î

Tickets for the benefit are $6 at the door (includes meal), $5 if prepaid by mail.

Some items in the silent auction include: 3 ft Blue Spruce, Rocketteís Christmas show tickets, framed artwork, limo ride, stained glass panels, a variety of theme baskets, gift certificates, and much more.
