Four juniors and one senior from Rush City were named to the Great River Conference (GRC) all-conference football team last week.
Winning all-conference honors were senior wide receiver/defensive back Adam Best; quarterback/defensive back Jacob Bosman; and tackle Jerred Nelson.
Receiving honorable mentions were tackle Ben Cook and split end Jeremy Marty.
This is the second consecutive year that Best has been named to the all-conference team. He was the Tigersí leading receiver this year and proved to be a long threat behind Bosmanís arm.
Nelson was a defensive anchor for the Tigers this season and led the team in tackles. Last year he earned an all-conference honorable mention.
The Tigers finished the season with a 4-4 record in the conference. They lost to section champion Pierz in their post-season game.
