Joshua Robert Smrcka, age 20 of North Branch, Minn., died accidentally on Nov. 5, 2005.
Joshua was born on March 27, 1985 in Minneapolis, Minn to David and Rose (Murray) Smrcka. He attended high school in North Branch.
Josh loved biking, fixing bikes, electronics, skateboarding, gymnastics and making people laugh.
He was preceded in death by grandfathers Robert Smrcka and Ivan Murray. He is survived by father David Smrcka, mother Rose Lascala and husband Gregg, daughter Vanessa Rose Smrcka, brother Justin Smrcka, sister Kayla Berres, step-brother Tony Lascala, step-sister Crystal Klar, grandmothers Dee Francois and Aurelia Murray, Niece Jana Smrcka.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov. 10 at 11 a.m. at Abundant Life Church, one mile west of North Branch on Hwy.95. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Grandstrand Funeral Home and one hour before services at the church. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Josh was a free spirit and did what he wanted to do. If there was anything he would want is for people to laugh. He spent much of his life making that happen.
