Two men unsuccessfully attempted to rob JJís Bowl at roughly 3:30 a.m. on the morning of Monday, Nov. 7, according to a press release issued by the North Branch Police Dept.
Officers R. Sapp and J. Conrad were responding to an alarm on the premises when they discovered signs of forced entry into the business. Witnesses to the burglary informed the officers that they had observed a dark colored vehicle flee the scene moments before the officers arrival.
With the assistance of the Lakes Area Police Dept., officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle and arrest two males, Nicholas Peter Larsin and Jeremy Lance Porter.
Larsin and Porter were taken into custody without incident and are being held as the Chisago County Jail.
Along with the North Branch and Lakes Area Police, Wyoming and the Chisago County Sheriffís Dept. assisted with the initial investigation.
